Honorary Consul Mr. Paresh Shukla opened the consulate to strengthen ties between the Republic of Indonesia and the Republic of Uganda.

The Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Indonesia in Kampala assists Indonesian citizens living in or visiting Uganda, supports Ugandan applicants seeking to travel to Indonesia, and works to deepen trade, cultural, and diplomatic ties between the two countries — under the authority of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Nairobi.

Since our inauguration in December 2023, the consulate has grown into a trusted point of contact for visa services, community support, and bilateral cooperation across Uganda.
